The one with the apology.

So…. This is a bit awkward, haven’t done this in a while… Not sure what to say, apart from sorry for being such a rubbish blogger! But, I have accomplished a lot while I have been away, such as passing my driving test, completing all my exams and surviving my accident prone life, which is quite a feat in my opinion. But in all honesty I’ve missed blogging and I will try my upmost to blog a bit more.

Moving on… What about the weather, hey? Flippin crazy hot, I am a winter lover and I am struggling, but I suppose it feels more like the good old days, where the summer days were hot and the winter days were cold. Wow, I sound old, I swear I’m 18.

I don’t have a lot more to say, but while I’ve been away a LOT of shopping has been done, and in the following days I have a lot to show you all! How Exciting!

Greetings fellow people of the blogging world, how delightful to see you all again, this is becoming quite the event, for me at least! So I had a half day at college today so that was awesome! Which meant that I could do nothing for the rest of the day. But it turns out it can be very tiring as I fell asleep for all of the evening…. And I am WIDE awake now! 😀
Before I fell asleep I painted my nails!

The colour is called ‘Really Rosy’, number 202. I bought it a while ago so I’m not sure if you can get it. I really love this colour, it’s lush for summer, but it’s so versatile it would be a beaut for the winter months. The brush is really wide and the consistency is perfect, so it doesn’t drip everywhere. I hope you can still get it…. Sucks for you…. So it turns out you can get the same type of nail varnish but not in the same colour…. Buy it for yourself here!

So before the rain came, I took some photos while on a walk, and I was really impressed with my iPhone photographer skillz. (Oh yes people, that is a Z on the end, I am too cool)

Pwitty huh? Well it pleased me, anyway…

And now, we have come to the part everyone looks forward to their whole entire day!

I’m back!

Hey fellow bloggers, I know I’ve been MIA for the past few days, but every time I went to write my blog the Internet went down… So hopefully I can finish this post in time!!
So today, I had a day off college, as I worked extra hard to get three days work into two, yes!
It was so nice not having to wake up to my terrifying alarm, which scares the life put of me every, single morning… But sadly when I did wake up the sun was not shining…. Sad times…

And, because I did have a day off, I had time to paint my nails! As, I was painting I thought, “I’m going to show your my nail varnish collection”. Or some of it at least, as my sister has stolen/borrowed at least half of my collection…

this is my lovely box, I got it while on holiday a few years ago, in a little antique exhibition, I think it’s so vintage… HAD to buy it. And to please my OCD side of me, it fits all my nail varnish perfectly! That is heaven my friend.

And here they all are!!

I think it’s quite a varied collection… I have promised myself not to but anymore, as it won’t fit in my pretty box, and it will drive me insane…

Sunny Saturday.

Hi, I know, I missed a day, it i was stuck in college all day and I was so tired when I came home! A poor excuse…. But still……

Okay, moving on, as to day was yet ANOTHER sunny day we headed out early on to do some shopping! But sadly I didn’t buy much…. I know, I must be ill, or skint… Lets go with the latter.
What I did buy, I bought with my boots points, so it was free! I love me some freebies!
The first thing I got was a body butter from Soap and Glory.

It is indeed small but I love it as I get to try a small amount to see if I like it! The consistency is lovely and it smells wonderful, I can’t quite describe the smell, bit trust me its good!

The second thing I got was FREE in this months Glamour magazine which was only £1. It is a black eye liner pencil made by Model Co.

As it was free I wasn’t expecting miracles, but to be honest I really like this! I haven’t used it on my lid but used it on the water line, and it worked a treat. It glided on straight away and it lasted most of the day…. I would recommend this!

Fab Fossil!

Yellow, my friends, it’s a pleasure to see you all again. So today, I had yet another day off college, and I’m loving every minute! Instead of being stuck in a stuffy classroom all day, I get to go outside! Woop!

Today’s best bit was getting a new handbag, because I really needed a new one….
This one is from Fossil… And it’s a work of art… to crazy old me!

Isn’t she lovely, as Stevie Wonder once said. The strap is a perfect length, the bag is a lovely size also. I have found that I carry far too much in all of my other handbags, and it’s really not good for my back or shoulders, so I thought it was about time to get a smaller one. Even the lining in the bag is pretty!

My friend bought this back for me from America, as it is so much cheaper over there. But I have found a very similar bag you can buy in the Uk, here!

The shoe of the day, also comes from America. I have always had a love for flip flops, since I was a little girl, my friend in America loved them, and I have adored them ever since! They are from Tommy Hilfiger, and quite stunning!

They couldn’t have come at a more perfect time, with all this beautiful sunshine! I shall wear them all the time!

Wicked Wednesday

Howdy bloggers, pleasure to meet again, this is becoming quite a routine now isn’t it? I’m loving doing these blogs and I hope you are enjoying them too! Anyways, on to the day!
I had no college today, so I could have a lovely chill day… Bliss!
So today’s new purchase is a top coat nail varnish from Rimmel.

I have found that no matter how many layers of nail varnish I put on and no matter how expensive the nail varnish, it will ALWAYS chip!! So I decided to try a proper top coat and not just a clear nail varnish. I bought this 2 days ago and used it as soon as I got home. My nail varnish is still in tact, and I am over the moon! Really am surprised how well it worked! I only put one coat on and it dried almost instantly, very happy bunny!

Now onto shoe of the day! I flippin love these ones today. I feel like I’m transported back in time!

I bought these on sale last year in Matalan for about £4! Yet another pair of bargain shoes… SCORE!

We’ve been so lucky with the weather recently so we have been able to go out on long walks with the dog, Tonka. It has been wonderful!

Even though I am a fan of winter, you can’t help but relish in the warm, it just makes you feel happy!

I love me some post!

Hey hey, bloggers, it’s delightful to see you again. It’s been a another beautiful day here in Wales, but I was stuck on college for some of it… Rubbish!
So, when I got home a parcel from asos was waiting for me! Whoop whoop!
And I know I’m a bit late with this but who cares! Inside was the Rimmel Apocalips, in the colour Stella!

I was a bit weary of how bright this colour was going to be, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It’s like a brighter tone of a vintage red, and I adore it. The wand is almost a heart shape so the coverage is really good. When you put it on first it looks really shiny and sticky like a lipgloss but after a few seconds it becomes more matte and looks like a proper lipstick.
It is so great! I got mine from ASOS for £4.49 which I don’t think is too bad? You can get it from here.

Now, I feel a bit bad about the next bit of my blog, I think I’m a failure… So I didn’t wear a new pair of shoes today, so I didn’t see the point in talking about the same one. So instead I am going to link a pair of shoes that I really want to get! Please don’t hate me!!
I love these ankle boots they look so vintage and me…. The price doesn’t look like me though! A girl can dream though…

The Quest for Perfect Skin…

Welcome,welcome, come on in! Well today was Monday. I’m sure most of you knew that. So Monday meant that it was back to college… Sarcastic yay! It wasn’t too bad actually as one of my lessons had been cancelled, so only had to go to English! Winning! And I was literally saved by the bell, as the fire alarm went off and we could go home early, double winning!

Today’s shoe of the day, is my green studded fake Tom’s.

Super comfy, go with nearly all of me clothes and I got them for £3 in New Look! Wouldn’t recommend you wear them out in the rain as they are not waterproof and tend to make you fall over in front of many people…. Trust me I know this to be true…

As you may have gathered from the title of this blog, I am indeed in search of the perfect skin. I haven’t found the right combination yet, but I am certainly on the way. So I wanted to share with you my nighttime skin routine, from beginning to end! So here it goes!

Firstly I start with my bioderma.

I tend to use this most on my eyes, as I wear an eyeliner most days, it can be a struggle to get off with a make up removal wet wipe! But with this it comes off with ease.

If your quick and buy it in June, there is a 1/3 of all Bioderma products! Grab yourself a bargain!

Next I use a larger cotton wool pad and remove all the makeup and dirt from my face with my Garnier Soothing Cleansing Lotion.

I put this all over my face, and it works as both a make up remover and a cleanser all in one!
Great Stuff! By the way I got this in Home Bargains (a better version of a pound shop) for £1.99

I then use a toner, just to even out my skin tone and cleanse it even more!

I also got this in Home Bargains for £1.50

Next I use my Simple hydrating light moisturiser. I can’t get enough of this stuff, I rave about it all the time!

I got this in Lidl for £1.99

Finally, if I have time, and I’m not too tired I will use my Lush ‘Angels on Bare Skin’ fresh facial cleanser.

Now, I don’t use this everyday, as I can’t be bothered. But when I do get round to doing it I flippin love it. It reduced redness, makes my skin feel so soft and best of all it seems to prevent spots from appearing. Love love love this!

The biggest tip I can give for those with bad skin and desperately want to improve it is….
Get rid of the make up remover wipes! Do it NOW!!!
I know they are quick and easy to use but they will reck and dry out your skin. I know that they are cheap too, but most of the products I have used are really cheap and available in most high street shops… Boots, super drug, etc. Trust me, you will thank me later.

Good day, sunshine!

Bonjour, friends of the blogging world, delightful to see you all again. It’s been a lovely quiet day, so it’s gonna be a shorter blog post than normal.
Well it’s been another glorious day in the land of the Welsh, and not a drop of rain in sight… What is going on?
As it was hot, I decided it was a special enough occasion to bring out my Cath Kidston pumps.

I rarely wear these, not because I don’t like them, but because I don’t want to wear them out because I am soooo in love with them. I was given them by my parents for my birthday last year, and I have cherished them ever since. You can’t get these exact ones in CK anymore, but they tend to bring out different sorts of pumps every year, so look out because they are excellent.

Yesterday I mentioned how dry my skin was on my face, and unfortunately my hands are just as dry. But I have found a product that is truly wonderful. It’s another one from soap and glory.
It’s called Hand Food!

Unlike other hand creams I have used it absorbs instantly and it doesn’t feel greasy after, which is a big thumbs up for me! You can get the cream here…
Soap and Glory also do a foot cream which I am going to buy next, I will let you know what I think of it then.
